Liz Hoens is the Children’s Librarian at Rahway Public Library in Rahway, New Jersey, and a School of Communication and Information MLIS alumnus. Hoens worked for Pearson Longman in New York City before studying Library and Information Science at Rutgers University. She began her library career as a Children’s Librarian at Maplewood Memorial Library, and began her current position at Rahway Public Library in 2014. Hoens is currently the co-chair of the New Jersey State Summer Reading Committee, and volunteers at Rahway Kitty Hall (New Jersey’s first cat cafe!), where she is the leader of their book club.
